Speaker 1:

Whether you're on a health journey, starting your life after a big change, or trying to keep up momentum towards your passion project, with all the ups and downs, this is for you. It's time to decrease the things that hold you back and increase the things that move you forward towards a life that you want. That hold you back and increase the things that move you forward towards a life that you want. I'm Amber Biebelheimer and this is the Momentum Restart Podcast. Welcome to Momentum Restart Podcast. I'm your host, coach Amber B. I'm so excited to bring this episode to you today because something I've been thinking about for a long time and it's coming together right now. If you've been here since the beginning of the Momentum Restart podcast. We've reached we're over 100 episodes. It's two and a half years of podcasting, if you have been here since the beginning. First, thank you, I'm so happy you're here and I love hearing your feedback on Instagram. Let me know which happy you're here and I love hearing your feedback on Instagram. Let me know which, what episodes stand out to you, what you want to hear more of. I love being able to deliver this content to you each week. And, side note, if you have been here since the beginning and you haven't left a review yet, I would love if you just took 20 seconds right now. Pause the show, scroll down, give a five star review and let me know what you're loving about this show, because it helps more people be able to see and hear what we're putting out every week. Now, another reason I wanted to bring this up is because we have evolved. We adjust and don't quit here with the Momentum Restart and things have evolved. My business has evolved, just like your life has evolved, and we're always growing. We're always adjusting and not quitting, especially if you are a momentum maker and you're here with me listening.

Speaker 1:

When I first started the podcast, I originally wanted to help women be able to set goals that were realistic. I wanted them to know that it's possible. I wanted them to. I wanted you to know that you have so much in you that you are made for, and I wanted to encourage you every week with mindset support. I wanted to encourage you every week with tips and tricks on how to make these things happen and how to treat your body and how to treat your mind and how to be more productive and effective and efficient so you can enjoy your life too. And that's still what I'm doing today, even though things keep evolving and adjusting and I'm finding new ways to be able to create things for you based on needs and wants that I hear from you. So, knowing every adjustment that we make, every new season that comes out, whether we have been talking last season was really focused on the business owner, and if you are a business owner, I encourage you to go look back at that season and see the amazing interviews that we were able to have here on the Momentum Restart podcast of other women in business and how they got more visibility on their products, how they made more time for themselves to be able to get their business up and running, all these different areas of business, branding, all these different things. We have a ton of recorded interviews on season two. Through all the seasons you've heard a lot of mindset work. We're going to keep hearing about that and I'll definitely be bringing back some entrepreneurial podcast episodes in the future.

Speaker 1:

But, if you've noticed, over the last month I've been talking a lot to the working mom and I also want you to know, if you are not a working mom, you are still in the right place, because you will learn so much from all of these tools, just as a woman who is trying to do all the things that you want to do. So I hope that these last few weeks have been encouragement to you and shown you what's possible, whether you are a mom who works from home or you're a mom who works out of the home, or whether you are a business owner or not a business owner. If you are a mom who works from home or you're a mom who works out of the home, or whether you are a business owner or not a business owner. If you are a woman and you have a lot of big dreams and a lot of things that you want to do and you also have a lot on your plate and maybe you feel a little bit of perfectionism holding you back sometimes, that there's this thing you want to do but things aren't just perfect, so you're not going to make it happen. Or maybe there's some imposter syndrome poking in, thinking I really want to do xyz, but who am I to do that? Or make someone else? Someone else already did that, or maybe you don't even have a chance. I can relate to this. You don't even have a chance to think about what you want because your plate is so full with all the things you have going on as we're leading into May.

Speaker 1:

I'm I've heard a lot of moms joke about this and I get this now. My boys are seven and nine and the month of May is busier for moms than December Most of us Because there are so many things happening at once and that running list that we have in our head that's always going of what program the kids are in that week or what practice they need to be at, or a new summer sport starting even before school is done and knowing that the kids also need to be at school and there's recitals and programs and tournaments and competitions. All the things are happening. Make sure you get the gift for your teacher, make sure that you're doing you're at the end of the school year party. All these things and this, all these shoulds that are on us Also, things we want to do, but a lot of shoulds that are on us as well as our life and our business, or your work, and the biggest piece of May that I don't want to slip away from you or myself, which is why I am going to be sharing with you details about the 21 day restart for Working Moms Today, a challenge that launched just last week, and I have a special code for you podcast listeners too, if you haven't jumped in yet.

Speaker 1:

But the reason what I don't want to see happen is and what this can happen so often is we can be so busy in May and we keep thinking summer's coming, but we don't put in any preparation or make any adjustments to prepare ourselves, to create space for the summer that we really want, and then summer comes around and you don't actually get to do the trip that you wanted or you don't actually get to have those memories that you wanted, because you're feeling frazzled. We're going to change that. That's behind everything that we do here on this podcast, momentum Restart Podcast and behind everything I do when I'm coaching, whether that's one-on-one with you in private coaching, or going through the Momentum Restart Accelerator, or working through the Working Moms Restart, whether you've purchased a planner or journal, whether you've attended an in-person event with myself and my business partner, jennifer at a Restart Collective retreat to get a way to get it done. All these things come back to making sure that you pause, lift your head up today, look ahead to the future and decide how you want to feel and what you want your life to be like, and then I'm here to help you engineer that, to make it happen in whatever way you choose. So let's pause today. If you're listening to this, when it comes out it is the end of April. If you're listening to this in the future which is what I love about podcast episodes you can still use this for whatever season you're about to be at, because if you're listening today and it is the end of April, know that what you're doing now is setting you up for your summer.

Speaker 1:

I want you to pause and think about what you want for your summer. What do you want it to look like or feel like? What do you want to do? I've shared this story so many times because it just stands out in my memory of my client who wanted to be able to go to the beach with her kids in the middle of the week. That's what she wanted. She wanted that for summer and her and I started working on that goal in January and it took time, but she was able to do it and enjoy that for actually many summers now. And what it took is first knowing where you want to go, and then it took time to create space for your schedule, create space in your environment, create space so that you can set some boundaries and protect the things that you want and protect how you want to feel. There's so many things that you can say yes to this summer. There's so many things you can say yes to in the month of May.

Speaker 1:

But every time you say yes to something, you're also saying no to something else. I want that to sink in. Every time you say yes to something, you're also saying no to something else. This goes for all of us. So when you say yes to something, what if you had this really clear vision of what you wanted your summer to look like, what was important to you, who was important to you? And that could be your work, it could be your kids, it could be yourself, it could be your relationships. That's up to you. But what if you had this really clear vision of what you wanted that to look like, so that, when these opportunities come up to say yes or no, you are able to hold that opportunity up against your values and decide if I say yes to this, what do I have to say no to and is it worth it? Is it going to help me get there? And if it doesn't, that's an easy no right there. And if saying no is really hard to you, I get that. I really get that. This is something I'm still practicing, and every time you say no, it does get easier. And because something I'm still practicing, and every time you say no it does get easier, and because you're able to then experience the yes that comes from saying that no, which is usually something that you really wanted and hoped for. So I know it's hard at first and that's why I'm here to help you through it.

Speaker 1:

Over the next 21 days, starting on May 1st, I am hosting the a 21-day guided challenge for working moms. Mom Mode Activated. It's a restart for working moms and I'm going to help you be able to work smarter, not harder, so that you can kiss those lists in your head goodbye. You can experience relief, you can have margin in your schedule, all so that you can have more space in your life and your environment and your schedule. All this space. Then you get to decide if you want to say yes, to fill it or no. It's your decision what you're going to fill it with. I'm going to teach you how I'm going to teach you how to say no.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to help recreate and reclaim your schedule this month of May for the next 21 days, so that, when summer comes, you know exactly where you are headed, what you want that summer to be like and when to say yes and when to say no. And I promise you it is going to be such a game changer for whatever it is that you are hoping to get out of this year, whether that's growth in your business, whether that's growth in your relationships, growth with yourself, whether it's you needing some space to think and reassess where you're headed in your career. What you need is, on the other side of this challenge, you can't face it yet until you clear your space. You clear your schedule so that you have a protected boundary around it and a clear vision on where you're headed, so that you can hold those yes or no opportunities up against it and say yes to what you really want and confidently say no to the other things that are going to keep coming. This is a life lesson that you will use over and over again.

Speaker 1:

I've created this for you, the working mom, so know that it is something that you can fit in an overly packed schedule in May, because I know what May looks like for you and this is going to be your favorite part of the day. You're going to receive daily, monday through Friday, because we all need the weekend to reset Monday through Friday, three-minute podcast episodes that I'm going to tell you one thing that you can do that day to help you restart and clear your schedule clear your environment or set up a boundary, and over those three weeks, by the end of those three weeks, you're going to be a pro at this and you're going to have created space by just listening to that private podcast episode each day. Now, this is something you've got to register for, and prices do increase each week, so make sure to hop in right away. And for my podcast listeners, because I love you and you've been here through the long haul, through all of the evolutions of Momentum Restart Podcast. I have a code for you and I hope that you share it with as many moms as you can think of, because we need to stick together, we need to encourage each other that, yes, we can have it all. You can have it all only when we realize we do not have to do it all. So please share this code with other moms, share this with your friends, invite them. This is going to be an incredible experience.
